A German forest railway
Henk Wust (2005)After the success of his modular steam tram layout Strien (elsewhere in these pages), Henk decided to find an entirely different subject for his next project. He chose a German forestry railway which was an excellent subject for him to indulge in model tree construction.
H'Bach (as Henk called this layout) was exhibited at Expo-NG, Swanley on 23 October 2004.

Left: when looking at this photo one almost smells the forest. Right and below: the sawmill photos merit a few minutes' study each to take in all the details. |
